Big Brook Dam
This dam was built in 1986 to supplement the water supply for Pemberton town and its trout hatchery. The big expanse of water is also used for fishing, canoeing, swimming and sailboarding. more

This replica of the Brig Amity, is an interesting look into what the brigs were like back in the 1800's. The replica was constructed in 1975, and completed in 1976. more

The South West offers four distinct seasons! During the summer months (Dec-Feb) the region offers maximum temperatures of 32°C – Perfect weather for lazing on the beach. Winter months (Jun-Aug) offer lovely cool and mild temperatures averaging around 14°C. The temperate climate of the South West goes hand in hand with the outdoorsy lifestyle and the regions claim to being a renowned food and wine region.
