Accommodation
There are many options for accommodation in WA.
Please plan your accommodation well in advance so that you can get the best deal. Consider our DriveWA.com memberships, as they can save you a lot of money on accommodation.
For one night transit stays, we recommend Best Western motels. They are clean, well maintained, and relatively inexpensive - particularly if you are a DriveWA.com member.
Best Western has a strict quality assurance scheme. DriveWA personally know most of the people who run them.
Best Western have developed a world wide accommodation debit card which is an ideal gift for someone going on a DriveWA escape; and a fabulous safe way of carrying credit, because only you can use it.The units you buy to put on the card can be utilised anywhere in Australia as well as in most countries in the world. Why not get your friends and family to give you accommodation credit units for your birthday; Xmas; or as a going away present; and use them all over WA?!
We know a lot of campers want a hot shower, clean room, flushing toilet, restaurant, and a real bed every now and then. Motels are ideal and the DriveWA membership card makes them affordable. Please follow the Motels link for more information.
For family or commercial stays where: you may be there for more than one night; you prefer to do your own cooking and washing; you need a little more space - we recommend serviced apartments and in particular the Quest Apartments Group. Once again, our DriveWA.com members will get great deals! Follow the links to the Serviced Apartments section of the site for more information.
Station Stays, Camping, Caravan Parks and Resorts.
We believe that everyone who visits WA should spend at least one night camping; one night at a good station stay; and one night in a fabulous WA Resort.
Campfire Escapes - learning to 4WD and have great fun.
If you are interested in learning to 4WD and would like to experience camping, we recommend Campfire Escapes, run by Ray Harris. Our DriveWA.com members will get a great deal and will be well looked after.
