Greenough
Greenough is located on the coast just 4 hours drive north of Perth. It is still a very successful sheep and wheat district with a population of almost 12,000 people. The Greenough Pioneers village is home to 11 stone buildings that serve as reminders of the once thriving pioneer community that used to occupy the land. Greenough Pioneer Museum
The Pioneer Museum, was originally known as Home Cottage and built for the miller John Stephen Maley by convicts from Port Gregory in 1862. It is now a folk museum concentrating on the agricultural history of the area. more
