Mount Magnet is located 569km north of Perth and has spectacular wildflower displays in spring. Mount Magnet has a population of 1,076.

Mount Magnet is a small gold mining town which is also used for services for the pastoral area with in the district, which houses some of the largest sheep stations in Western Australia.

The Granites is a rocky outcrop spread over several hectares. They are interesting formations but the real reason they are special is because they feature some amazing Aboriginal Art.
